This photo is a great representation of what it is like to be a street photographer. We are often onlookers. Not part of the scene. We see different aspects of life play out. People rushing to work. Rushing somewhere. We see routine and how it tends to affect our lives. By using this routine to our advantage we can capture images - we predict.Resolution 5184 x 3456.

Through the fences

Taxis in South Africa are a lot different from taxis in other places in the world. You think about taxis and the first image you see is the iconic yellow “cabs” in America. Here it’s a different story. A taxi is a minibus which can transport up to 16 people. 

Most drivers in South Africa tend to have a hate / hate relationship with them as they don’t see the rules of the road as “rules” but more as suggestions.
