They have been a friend and companion to traders, diplomats, philosophers and other brave pioneers who have journeyed across the continent, seeking fortune and wisdom.<br><br></div><div>The stories also say that this ring is no inanimate object. That it "speaks" to its bearer through a code of pulses and vibrations felt through the stones embedded in its inner band, offering counsel, warning, and encouragement.<br><br></div><div>And even more curiously, wherever this object emerges in history, there is almost always a parallel report of multiple people having similar dreams within that area. The records are especially muddled here, but the few reports that have come to us have the following repeating elements: in the dream, the dreamer is walking through a dense forest. They meet a young person resting at the base of an extremely tall tree, who greets them warmly and asks them to sit with them.<br><br></div><div>The child, who bears a five-pointed star-shaped beauty spot beneath their right eye, explains that they're passing through the area with a friend, who is sadly currently occupied, which is why they have gone to seek entertainment elsewhere. We are uncertain what relationship it has to the hardwood tree of the same name which grows in West Africa, especially in Ghana and Nigeria.<br><br></div><div>While our historical efforts to locate Denya proved unsuccessful, a recent breakthrough has resulted in a number of very promising leads.<br><br></div><div>The ring's last known location appears to [REDACTED]<br><br>--- [[ REPORT END ]] ---<br><br><strong>Introducing Denya</strong></div><div>Paystack powers payments for some of the most ambitious businesses in Africa, and one thing that unites all of them is the courage to forge into new markets.<br><br></div><div>These pioneers deserve all the help they can get, which is why we partnered with our friends at Zivanora to bring the fabled ring Denya to life.<br><br></div><div>In designing Denya, we sought to create a piece of personal jewellery that gives its wearer the courage to forge into new markets. When you find yourself hesitating to enter into unfamiliar places, this ring will be a familiar, comforting weight on one hand, giving you the quiet confidence to dare more.<br><br></div><div>In this spirit, we also wanted the ring to reflect our own ongoing adventures in international expansion, by reflecting material and thematic elements from the three countries where we currently operate - Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa - with many more coming in 2021.<br><br></div><div>Denya is an 18 karat yellow gold loop, with a blood red carnelian stone embedded in the center. Carnelian is known to symbolize courage and motivation, and to restore vitality, making it the perfect stone for this crafting. The stone's ovoid shape echoes the Nguni shield favoured by numerous ethnic groups in southern Africa.<br><br></div><div>The ring face also features a single five-pointed star, a nod to the star at the center of Ghana's flag. Ghana, the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence, featured the star in the new country's flag as a rallying cry for emancipation efforts across the continent.<br><br></div><div>Finally, in the ring's inner band, opposite the carnelian stone, are three white diamonds. The placement is quietly confident, not requiring ostentatious display to be assured in its worth. Each stone represents one of the three countries in which Paystack currently operates.<br><br></div><div>The red carnelian stone, yellow gold, and white diamonds will be sourced from Nigerian mines.<br><br></div><div><br><strong>IMPORTANT NOTES</strong></div><ul><li>Only one copy of this Denya aspect will be made to order. You will be the only person on the planet to possess this Denya aspect.</li><li>At purchase, you'll be able to choose which one of Denya's aspects to have fabricated. You can choose between Denya's Moon aspect (a form factor which reads more feminine) or Sun aspect (a form factor which reads more masculine).</li><li>The inner loop of the ring will feature the Zivanora and Paystack logo, as well as a short custom text of your choice, of about 40 characters.</li><li>After purchase, we'll connect you with Zivanora for various engagements such as finger sizing.
