A story of young man called Uzondu who left his hometown of Amuru for higher education in Asia but was shocked to return to
an entirely changed world 12 years after.
From his childhood and shaped by some other factors, he was inclined towards the environment.
His sojourn in another world opened his eyes to how preserved environments have turned to
gold. So, he developed a more fervent longing to make his own world revive the culture of the
ancestors whose lives were strictly tied to their environment. As they protected their world like
a creed, they lived healthy, wealthy, and happy.
Their inclination to preserve those treasures of their environment elevated them almost to a
religion.
He saw those tenets as shrines of the ancestors and came with a passion to revive those shrines
- the natural environments that needed protection to turn to gold too.
He had begun the project in faraway Beijing where his academic work elevated the traditional
environmental protection ethos of his world to international acclaim.
But he returned to a worse decay that made him start off with all the zest in him to salvage
what was left.
The zeal paid off and triggered a chain of events and counter events that revived his ancestors’
shrines where they worshiped nature in the hallowed temples of the environment.
