This is complex perfumery at its peak. So gorgeous on the skin and truly well blended. On the first spray, you get a vanillin and a light musk base. At first you get the feeling of a Montale Intense Cafe/Black Aoud vibe but then this settles onto the skin with a powdery honey patchouli goodness. While Oud is listed, it doesn’t have a prominent presence. Instead, it is paired with labdanum and patchouli to give the fragrance a bit of a dark aura.
